MKK delivers offshore AHU for FPSO Espoir Ivoirien

MKK has recently delivered three combined offshore AHU and cooling units for the project life extension of Espoir Ivoirien.

FPSO vessel Espoir Ivoirien, owned by BW Offshore, is operating on the Espoir field offshore Ivory Coast. It has an oil Production capacity of 45,000 bbl/d and Storage capacity of 1,100,000 bbl. Oil produces from the Espoir East and west reservoir is processed and offloaded from the FPSO Epoir Ivoirien, which is located between the two wellhead Towers. Espoir is connected to the Towers by flow lines.

Life extension Investment

Through an extension of the lease contract, an option for further leasing was prepared with terms based on some upgrade adjustments. The life extension Investment should deliver cost savings for both parties. MKK has within this Upgrade, delivered combined AHU and cooling / AC units. Our specialty is to make HVAC Equipment on customers demand, based on Space, capacity and functionality. On this Project, we customized everything to secure reliability and optimal performance. If a Client ask for it, we will make it.

Customized Offshore AHU

Scope of Our participant included three separate AHU/cooling systems for four accommodation cabins, and one Laboratory container. Supplying, recirculation and extraction of fresh and used air, our units will secure stable operating conditions for both personnel and Equipment. Combined with open deck mounting, and rough and relentless environment we face on the open sea. MKK constructed these units in stainless steel AISI 316, equipped with epoxy treated evaporator and condenser. With use of high quality Components, our units is designed for excellent performance and long lifetime regardless circumstances.
